Video Display Corporation to Acquire TFS Division

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 9, 2005--Video Display Corporation (NASDAQ:VIDE - News) today announced that the Company had signed an Agreement to acquire the Innovative Display Systems (IDS) division of Three-Five Systems (NYSE:TFS - News). Closing of the transaction is expected to occur on May 9, 2005. Innovative Display systems, formerly known as Advanced Video Technologies (AVT) and located in Marlborough, Massachusetts is an award winning designer, engineer, manufacturer and integrator of video technologies. The company, founded in 1988, specializes in flat panel, touch screen and rack mount systems with custom military, industrial and commercial requirements.
