VDC Display Systems Achieves Record Backlog with Receipt of Boeing Co. Orders

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 22, 2005--VDC Display Systems, a division of Video Display Corporation (NASDAQ:VIDE - News), reports a record backlog having received additional orders in excess of $7M dollars from The Boeing Company for delivery over the next 24-month period. The advanced projection display systems ordered by The Boeing Company are for use in the U.S. Air Force F-15E Mission Training Center (MTC) provide for a full range of training maneuvers - from formation flight, air refueling, weapons delivery, air-to-air and air-to-ground combat, emergency procedures, and take-off and landings.
